There is free parking at 1633 Fillmore.    1633 Fillmore is between Colfax and 17th.  You can access Fillmore from Colfax (there is a traffic light at Fillmore and Colfax).  You can also access Fillmore from 17th Avenue (there is a traffic light at 17th and Fillmore).   The building is accessible.  You must be pre-registered for Reiki classes.

When you arrive come through the front door.  If the door is locked scroll through the key pad for “Lisa Guyman” and I’ll buzz you in.Building Access for Reiki I, II and Master’s Classes. The building is locked in the evening and weekends.  If the building is locked you can ring Lisa through the intercom by looking up Lisa Guyman, (the directory is organized by first names) and she will buzz you in.

Reiki Teacher’s Class Location:
The Reiki Teacher’s class is held at a different location.  The Denver address for the Reiki Teacher’s class will be emailed with the registration confirmation.  For the Reiki Teacher’s class there is also free parking.  There are stairs at the Teacher class location.

Coming from Out-of-Town?  Best Hotel Locations when Attending Lisa’s Reiki Workshops (check Trip Advisor for reviews).  All hotels are 10-15 minutes from the Reiki class location.

Hilton Garden Inn.  600 S. Colorado Blvd.  Denver.  Brand new and a very nice hotel.  Features a couple restaurants.
Hampton Inn -  4150 East Kentucky Avenue.  Denver.  (by Barnes & Noble/Starbucks).
Marriot Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek – 1475 S. Colorado Blvd – Denver.
Fairfield Inn- 1680 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver.
There is also a Loews Georgio Hotel and JW Marriot- Cherry Creek in the same area, but likely more expensive.

Cherry Creek North - Things To Do: While in the area you may want to check out Cherry Creek north, a great place to walk around, go to coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, galleries etc.  There is also Cherry Creek North Shopping Mall and Bike/Walk Trails.

Beautiful Grounds for Walking:  Washington Park in Denver and Red Rocks park in Morrison (stunning).

Museums in Denver: Denver Musuem of Nature and Science and the Denver Art Musuem.

Exciting News!  My business partner, James Ripley and myself are speaking at the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention on January 20, 2012.  We are giving two 90 minute workshops at the convention.

In this guided meditation workshop participants will learn how to meditate easily, anytime, anywhere!  We’ll be guided the audience through four modules.  Each module will include a short lecture, a meditation practice and a time for feedback.

Great experiential workshop for corporations and for conventions!

Course Catalogue Description:
Looking for a way to manage stress?  Experience meditation and learn how to meditate anywhere.  Meditation is not difficult and does not require you to control your thoughts in any way.  The deep relaxation and rejuvenation accessed via meditation allows you to manage the demands of life more effectively and release daily stresses.  Meditation has been proven to:

• reduce anxiety and depression, while increasing positive affect and well-being;
• promote anti-aging and health
• enhance productiveity, success and job satisfaction.

Learn to meditate easily and successfully while gaining knowledge of the mechanics, beneifts and physiological-correlates of meditation including hear rate variability, EEG and capnometry (carbon dioxide) measurements.

Lisa Guyman is a Certified Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor through Deepak Chopra, MD and The Chopra Center.  She is also a Reiki Master and author and has produced a guided meditation Cd and Reiki CDs.

James Ripley is certified as an Awakened Mind Meditation and Brainwave Instructor by The Anna Wise Center.  He is specialist in stress reduction, meditation and peak performance.

Who is Invited: Reiki I, II, Masters and Teacher’s practitioners. This is for all certified Reiki students.

What:  An opportunity for Reiki Practitioners to give and receive Reiki in a supportive environment.  

When:  Sunday, January 28, 2012.

Time:  7:00pm-9:30pm.  Please wait until 6:50pm to come in the building because there is a Reiki class finishing up until that time.

Where: Birmingham Unitarian Church, The Commons Room,  38651 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI  48304.    When facing the church from the parking lot enter the door to the left of the front door and go left.  We are right there.

What to Bring: There isn’t anything that you need to  bring except perhaps a bottle of water.

How it Works: Every attendee has the opportunity to receive Reiki and give Reiki. We’ll have groups of 6-7 per table i.e. one person receiving and the other 4-6 giving at the same time (or we may break into smaller groups depending on the number of those that attend). It’s really wonderful to give and receive Reiki in this way.

Cost: There isn’t a charge. Suggested donation of $2-$5.
