Denver Reiki Treatments
Reiki is a amazingly relaxing and centering hands-on energy relaxation technique. If you haven’t experienced Reiki yet, now is the time to treat yourself.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation and energy balancing that also supports healing. It was discovered in the 1920s by Mikao Usui and is administered by “hands-on” and “long distance” treatments. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “Universal” or “Spiritually Guided” and Ki which is “life force energy”.
For a Reiki session you get to relax fully clothed on a comfortable massage table. There is nothing you need to do in a Reiki session but just allow yourself be.
Many people that experience Reiki think it’s even more relaxing than massage – can you imagine that? People experience many benefits from Reiki including: feeling re-centered, experiencing a heightened sense of awareness, enhanced well-being, emotional resolution, stress reduction, reduction in pain and tension, inner peace and a deep sense of quietude. Some people even see colors during Reiki and receive insights.
Reiki is just amazing! Treat yourself or someone you love to the experience of Reiki, to the experience of peace and calm and inner healing.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can be included in your session.
Your Appointment: Allow 75-90 mintues when you schedule your appointment with Lisa Guyman. We’ll spend about 10 minutes to get acquainted, 60 minutes on your actual Reiki treatment and 10-15 minutes afterward to wrap up. You’ll fill out a basic intake form and we’ll talk about what might need extra attention. You’ll then get to relax on a massage table and I’ll guide you into greater relaxation with a short relaxation process. After the session it’s a good idea to relax on the table for about 5 minutes before getting up. If this is your first Reiki treatment schedule some time for yourself afterward to take a walk in a park or to sit quietly.

About Lisa Guyman:
Lisa is a Reiki Master/Teacher who has taught over 700 students since 1998 and given countless Reiki treatments. Lisa’s Journey with Meditation and Energywork
Lisa’s spiritual interest began at age 16 when she independently pursued and learned to meditate. Her journey with Reiki energywork began July 16th, 1997 when she took a First Degree Reiki course. Right after taking her first Reiki workshop she established a Reiki pracitce. Some of her clients have been coming to her for 13 years. She took Reiki II on August 16, 1997, the Reiki Master’s course on October 18, 1997, the Reiki Teacher Training on January 21, 1998, and Karuna Reiki Masters on March 6, 1998.
Her training includes courses in Therapeutic Touch, Touch for Health, Polarity Energy Therapy, and cranialsacral therapy. She was attuned to the system of ARCH energywork by Laurie Grant and has taken an energy medicine course with Donna Eden and an Emotional Freedom (EFT) course with Gary Craig.
Lisa’ s other education includes a. B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan, cranialsacral therapy, Kwan Yin energywork, certification in hypnotherapy. She is a certified Chopra Meditation and Yoga Instructor. She is also the author of Journey into Meditation: Guided Meditations for Healing, Insight, and Manifesation CD. - One Hour Reiki Treatment - $90. Allow 90 minutes total for your appointment i.e. for intake, Reiki treatment, discussion and wrap up.

Reiki Treatments and Sessions
Reiki is a very relaxing and centering hands-on energy technique. For a Reiki session you get to completely relax on a comfortable massage table. You remain fully clothed during a Reiki session – so dress comfortably.
For a Reiki Session plan on a total of 80-90 minutes total for your appointment time. Your appointment time includes intake, a 60 minute Reiki treatment, time to relax after the treatment, and discussion.
