A Poem for the Season

May you make the most of this time of year.
May you find yourself in good cheer!

May you enjoy what the season brings
in all its trimmings and trappings.

May you cherish your close family and friends
for they are life’s godsends.

May you focus on what matters most and
let love and peace be your guideposts.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed
back off of your list and take a deep breath.

And if you’re feeling lonely, sad or blue,
know that we’ve all been there too.

May you enjoy the beauty of winter’s stillness
and in doing so be filled with promise.

May you make the world a better place
with a smile, a simple gesture, or a warm embrace.

May you make the most of this time of year.
May you find yourself in good cheer!

Have a wonderful winter celebration whether you celebrate Hannukah, Christmas, Hijra, Kwanzaa, or Festivus!

Peace on Earth and Blessings to All.

Merry Christmas! Lisa
