What is Primordial Sound Meditation?

Primordial Sound Meditation is a silent mantra-based technique systematized  by Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon. The mantra is a specific sound which, when repeated silently, helps one enter a deeply restorative meditative state. The mantras are calculated specifically for according to each individuals time and place of birth and is given to participants in a one-on-one appointment with Lisa Guyman, Certified Chopra Center Instructor.

About your Chopra Center Instructor  
Lisa Guyman is a certified Primordial Sound Instructor and first learned Transcendental Meditation at the  age of 16 and attended the Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa where everyone practiced Transcendental Meditation. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher. and has taught meditation for 15 years and Reiki for 21 years.

  • How to prioritize meditation and the best times and places to practice
  • An understanding of the variety of experiences in meditation
  • A vision of higher states of consciousness that unfold with regular meditation. Including an exclusive video on higher states of consciousness.
  • A clearing of the myths and misconceptions around meditation (i.e. that it is hard and requires that you empty your mind of thoughts).

  • Students receive one-on-one personal meditation instruction with Lisa Guyman. At this time, the student will be given their personal mantra, calculated by The Chopra Center and experience the ease of meditation.
  • Depending on the course structure and needs of the students Lisa’s introductory welcome videos on meditation are available. Here she details what to expect in the course and what to expect in the remote one-on-one mantra meditation instruction.
  • Lisa has an extensive background in meditation and has a unique, impactful, calm way of facilitating workshops.
  • Students will experience group meditation and will be guided into the practice of Primordial Sound Meditation by Lisa Guyman
  • After class students receive a Primordial Sound Meditation audio to support easy and effortless practice.
  • Most importantly students learn how to successfully and fully integrate this highly beneficial meditation practice into life.

Workshop Schedule ~ Customized for your Group

 

Initial Meditation Mantra Instruction – One-on-One. On the phone or in-person. 

  • The one-on-one mantra instruction appointment takes about 15 minutes and then immediately after the instruction you’ll meditate for 25 minutes.

Two-Day Workshop – Sample Options

  • Option 1 – Both Saturday & Sunday from 12:30-4:00 both days.
  • Option 2 – Saturday or Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Two Evenings – Consecutive (or up to a week apart). 6:00pm-9:30pm.

Pricing for Private Groups

  • Course Fee: $375 per person (Fee includes mantra fee/material fee paid to Chopra Center) 
  • Minimum 6 Students – Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs

Location Options

  • At your locale in Colorado.
  • In Denver at my locale – additional $250 charge for facility rental
  • Outside of the Front Range. Minimum 8 students. Additional costs will be allocated for Lisa’s travel expenses.
